Necklace Size Guide

How to Properly Measure Necklace Length

  1. Use a Flexible Measuring Tape – Wrap a soft tape around your neck where the necklace will sit. Ensure it’s flat and not too tight.

  2. Decide on the Desired Length – Common lengths include:

    • Choker: 14-16 inches
    • Princess: 18 inches
    • Matinee: 20-24 inches
    • Opera: 28-36 inches
  3. Use String if You Don’t Have a Tape – Cut a string to the length you want, then measure it against a ruler.

  4. Consider Pendant Drop – If your necklace has a pendant, account for the additional length it will add.

  5. Check Against Your Neckline & Style – Match the length to your outfit and comfort preference.
